The number of logistics and evacuation missions carried out by ground-based robotic systems in the Ukrainian Defense Forces has increased 3.3-fold since the beginning of 2026. In August alone, these systems completed more than 25,000 tasks on the front lines.

Ukraine is accelerating the deployment of anti-drone protection along roads in frontline and border regions. By the end of 2026, the country plans to protect an additional 4,000 km of roads, and an additional 1.6 billion hryvnia has been allocated for this work.
In January–February, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense procured a record number of multicopters for the front lines. The military will receive at least twice as many drones as during the same period last year, while alternative systems using AI are being tested in parallel.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has been granted the authority to take unfinished fortifications onto its books and complete their construction on its own. The new mechanism is intended to reduce the number of “long-delayed construction projects” in critical areas and accelerate the commissioning of defense facilities.
