Editorial Principles
RE:UKRAINE – a business media outlet covering business, investment, reconstruction, and Ukraine’s economic future. Our mission is to provide our audience with accurate, useful, and independent information about the people, companies, decisions, and projects that are shaping the country’s development.
1. INDEPENDENCE AND ACCOUNTABILITY
The editorial team works in the interests of our readers and maintains independence from political, commercial, and other external influences. We do not permit hidden advertising, manipulation of facts, or the use of editorial content to promote private interests.
2. ACCURACY AND QUALITY
Facts, figures, quotes, and statements must be verified before publication. We strive to provide not only news but also context, analysis, expert assessments, and practical value for our readers. In the event of a significant factual error, the editorial team promptly corrects it.
3. SOURCES AND SUBJECTS
We give preference to open and verified sources. Anonymity is permitted only when there are valid reasons for it. The editorial team maintains professional distance when interacting with the subjects of our stories and does not pay for interviews, comments, or information.
4. CONFLICT OF INTEREST
Authors and editors must disclose any circumstances that could affect their impartiality. Personal, financial, or professional interests must not influence the content of editorial materials. Non-public information may not be used for personal gain or disclosed to third parties.
5. EDITORIAL AND COMMERCIAL CONTENT
RE:UKRAINE’s editorial and commercial content are clearly separated. Advertisements, partnership projects, and sponsored content are clearly labeled. Commercial partnerships do not give partners the right to influence independent editorial decisions.
6. TECHNOLOGY AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
AI may be used as a tool to assist in analyzing, structuring, translating, or processing information, but it does not replace editorial review. The editorial team is always responsible for the accuracy and quality of published material. The use of AI to create visual content is appropriately disclosed when necessary.
7. ETHICS AND PROFESSIONAL REPUTATION
The RE:UKRAINE team adheres to the principles of professional ethics and respects privacy, copyright, and the right of reply. Plagiarism, deliberate misrepresentation of facts, hidden payment for publication, or undisclosed conflicts of interest are incompatible with RE:UKRAINE’s standards.
Our goal is to create media that is trusted by businesses, investors, experts, and everyone working toward Ukraine’s recovery and future.
