The Ministry of Finance has updated the State Customs Service’s Strategic Plan for Digital Development through 2030. The document calls for the modernization of IT systems, the expansion of electronic services, and the integration of Ukrainian customs with EU systems.
The Ukrainian agricultural sector continues to face a severe labor shortage. Although 83% of agricultural companies planned to increase employee salaries by 10–20% in 2026, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find tractor operators, drivers, engineers, and grain elevator workers.
Starting October 1, 2026, full labeling requirements for food and animal feed will be reinstated in Ukraine. Manufacturers and importers must provide mandatory information in the official language and ensure that the labeling accurately reflects the actual composition of the products.

The mandatory use of certificates of completion has been abolished in Ukraine. By mutual agreement of the parties, the provision of services may be confirmed by an invoice signed by the service provider.
The government has abolished two outdated regulatory instruments that duplicated environmental impact assessment procedures. The changes are expected to reduce the administrative burden on businesses, particularly on more than 50,000 manufacturing companies.
The government has approved the procedure for designating areas of high-risk farming due to climatic factors and the consequences of hostilities. Farmers working in these areas will be eligible for government support.
