Manufacturers and importers must provide mandatory information in the official language, and the information on the packaging must accurately reflect the actual composition of the product, including ingredients, nutritional value, and allergens.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the corresponding resolution, repealing the temporary exemptions introduced in the first months of the full-scale war. The resolution stipulates that on October 1, 2026, CMU Resolutions No. 186 and No. 234 of 2022 will cease to be in effect. Consequently, manufacturers and importers will be required to fully comply with the requirements of the Ukrainian laws “On Consumer Information Regarding Food Products” and “On the Safety and Hygiene of Animal Feed.”
