“Biokon” Lost More Than 15 Billion Hryvnia in Goods Due to a Russian Strike on Its Logistics Complex
The “Biokon” pharmaceutical logistics complex in the Boryspil district of Kyiv Oblast was destroyed as a result of a Russian attack on September 3, 2026. Preliminary losses from the loss of finished goods alone exceed 15 billion hryvnia.
The complex consisted of two warehouses with a total area of 45,000 square meters. According to the company, no employees or customers were harmed as a result of the attack.
The warehouses held significant stocks of medications, primarily manufactured abroad. Biokon noted that the complex provided for at least three months’ worth of medication for Ukrainian patients.
Following the attack, the company suspended all operations, including the receipt and shipment of medicines. Once the cleanup is complete, “Biokon” plans to conduct a full assessment of the damages and seek compensation for the harm caused by Russia.
