Ukrainian IT company N-iX has partnered with Cursor, an AI startup popular among programmers

Asreported by forbes.ua, Lviv-based IT company N-iX, which is included in Forbes Ukraine’s “202 Largest Companies” ranking as one of the country’s largest IT companies, has announced a strategic partnership with the startup Cursor, which creates a tool popular among programmers for writing code using artificial intelligence. 

The companies aim to accelerate the transition to AI-driven development, enabling teams to create, scale, and maintain intelligent applications faster and more efficiently.

The collaboration combines Cursor’s cutting-edge AI-powered development environment with N-iX’s deep expertise in enterprise software development, cloud technologies, data processing, and AI, according to N-iX.

The companies will help organizations implement AI-augmented development models to optimize code writing, testing, and documentation processes.

N-iX believes this will boost productivity, improve code quality, and accelerate innovation at every stage of the software development lifecycle.

The Cursor product has already been implemented on projects for over 35 N-iX clients, and more than 150 of the company’s experts are successfully integrating their solutions into development processes for clients, noted Yaroslav Kysylychka, Director and Head of the GenAI Value Lab at N-iX.

According to the company’s estimates, a comprehensive approach to integrating AI into development processes allows a single client to save an average of $1.5 million. Clients see significant cost optimization for change management processes, the comprehensive adaptation of which N-iX also handles.

Consulting on the integration of AI solutions already accounts for 22% of N-iX’s total business and is the fastest-growing segment, the company added.
