In 2025, the volume of construction work in Ukraine exceeded 258 billion UAH. This is 17% more than in 2024 and higher than in the record-breaking year of 2021. This is evidenced by an analysis of key indicators for Ukraine’s construction industry for 2015–2025 and the first quarter of this year. The analysis was prepared by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine based on data from the State Statistics Service and the Unified State Electronic System for the Construction Sector.

Nonresidential construction was the main driver. The positive trend was confirmed in the first quarter of 2026 as well: the total volume of work grew by another 15.5% year-over-year.

Growth was recorded in nearly all segments:

buildings — 20 billion UAH, +11%

residential construction — 6.2 billion UAH, +7%

non-residential construction — 13.8 billion UAH, +12%

engineering structures — 20.2 billion UAH, +20%
