The government has allocated 718 million UAH to ensure transportation links within the Odesa region and with Moldova, specifically for alternative routes and backup logistics to ports in the Danube region.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated 718 million hryvnias to ensure transport links with the southwestern part of the Odesa region and with Moldova.
These decisions will make it possible to maintain uninterrupted logistics both within the region and to ensure international freight and passenger transport with Moldova and Romania.
This is important given the enemy’s attempts to disrupt transport corridors, as well as attacks on bridges, railways, ports, and other logistics infrastructure.
The decision enables the creation of alternative routes near the bridge in the town of Mayaky, which was damaged in late 2025 as a result of Russian shelling.
The decision also provides for the construction of a bridge crossing at the “Yampil–Coseuți” border crossing point in Vinnytsia Oblast.
It provides for the construction of specific infrastructure solutions that will ensure the creation of a backup road connection and strengthen the resilience of transport and logistics links not only with Moldova but also toward the ports of the Danube region.
