“Nova Post” has entered the Canadian market — the 18th country in its international network

Nova Post has launched operations in Canada, which has become the 18th country in the company’s international network. Customers can now send and receive documents and packages weighing up to 30 kg between Ukraine and Canada, while Ukrainian businesses have gained another channel for entering the Canadian market.

You can arrange an international shipment from Canada online via the Nova Post website or mobile app. You can drop off a package at one of the 1,100 UPS Store partner locations or hand it to a courier. Delivery time between Canada and Ukraine is five days or more.

The cost of shipping from Canada to Ukraine depends on the shipment’s weight. Documents and packages weighing up to 1 kg cost 37 Canadian dollars, up to 2 kg — 47, up to 10 kg — 99, and up to 30 kg — 215 Canadian dollars.

According to Oleksiy Taranenko, CBDO of the NOVA Group, Canada and North America as a whole are among the key directions for the company’s international expansion. Nova Post has already processed over 3,000 shipments, most of which consisted of goods from Ukrainian manufacturers. The next steps will include expanding the network, launching a franchise model, introducing new products, and reducing delivery times.

A distinct advantage for Ukrainian businesses is the Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement (CUFTA). It allows for the import of a range of goods without paying import duties. For most shipments, the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) applies, and packages valued at up to 20 Canadian dollars are exempt from taxation.

Earlier, in February 2026, Nova entered the U.S. market through a partnership with UPS. The U.S. became the 17th country in its international network. The company also announced plans to launch operations in China by the end of the year and to continue its international expansion thereafter.
