Communities in Zaporizhzhia and Chernihiv have received 38 pieces of specialized equipment
Zaporizhzhia and Chernihiv received 38 units of specialized equipment to address the aftermath of shelling and restore critical and municipal infrastructure as part of a joint project with JICA.
As part of the Emergency Recovery and Reconstruction Project, communities continue to strengthen their technical capacity to address the aftermath of shelling, according to the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development.
A shipment of 23 units of heavy equipment designed for clearing debris and restoring critical infrastructure has arrived in Zaporizhzhia. Excavators of various types for comprehensive earthwork and the cleanup of damage caused by enemy attacks have been distributed among the municipal enterprises “Zaporizhmiskvitlo,” “Titan,” “Zelenbud,” “Vodokanal,” and “Eluash.”
Similar heavy equipment has also arrived in Chernihiv. This includes 15 units, among which are one front-loader, three excavators, nine backhoe loaders, and two bulldozers.
The new equipment has been distributed among the following municipal enterprises: “Chernihivvodokanal,” “ATP-2528,” “Teplokomunenergo,” “Desnyanske,” “Novozavodske,” “ZHEK-10,” “ZHEK-13,” and the “Specialized Municipal and Household Services Complex.”
It will significantly improve the efficiency of work on urban improvement, maintenance of the housing stock, and the city’s municipal infrastructure.
