12 new restaurants and 3.5 billion UAH in taxes: McDonald’s Ukraine’s 2025 results
In 2025, McDonald’s in Ukraine opened 12 new restaurants, increased its customer base by 17%, and paid 3.5 billion UAH in taxes. The company’s total investments from 2022 to 2025 reached 4.84 billion UAH.
In 2025, McDonald’s Ukraine demonstrated steady growth and expanded its network. The number of customers increased by 17%, while tax payments to the budget rose by 34.6%. This wasreported by the company’s press service.
In 2025, the company opened 12 new restaurants and renovated 5 existing ones. The chain made its debut in the Zakarpattia region – in Uzhhorod and Mukachevo – as well as in Hatne in the Kyiv region and in Lypyny near Lutsk. Additionally, the first McDonald’s restaurant featuring a sustainable design concept began operations in Lviv. In total, since 2022, the company has opened 33 new locations, expanding the chain by over 25% during this period.
At the same time, McDonald’s continued to work on the network’s resilience: the share of restaurants equipped with generators rose to over 95%, ensuring operations during power outages.
This systematic growth was made possible by stable investments in business development in Ukraine. Between 2022 and 2025, total investments in the expansion and modernization of the network reached 4.84 billion UAH. McDonald’s also remains the largest taxpayer in the industry and ranks among the largest taxpayers in Ukraine among all private companies, having paid 3.5 billion UAH in 2025.
